Hello my name is Gordon Grant I am the Musical Director of the Fanfare Big Band.
The band was formed by myself in 1983. Shortly afterwards I was asked to take over as
Musical Director of the Radio Leicester Big Band. The two bands became one until I moved
to Lincolnshire.
The band was reformed by myself in 2003. We are playing to wider audiences as The Fanfare Big Band can cater for most occasions. I am very proud to have a band of wonderful dedicated musicians plus my vocalist Rebecca Smyth. She is a young lady only in her early 20’s but sings with the maturity of someone twice her age.
